Gropius’s Bauhaus Building in Dessau (1926)—curtain-wall workshops and a studio wing. UNESCO World Heritage. You can stay overnight in restored studio rooms in the Prellerhaus. Workshop, bridge-like admin, and studio wings divide by use. Modernism you can read from the street, and a minimal living cell you can sleep in on the same site.
